What your day-to-day will look like:Support designated senior sales team members with multimillion-dollar engagements, including coordinating bids and proposals, providing account-specific analytics and collaborating across multiple lines of businessWork as part of a combined team to clearly articulate solution and strategy, approach to performing the work, win themes, and discriminatorsApply interviewing skills to gather required information from internal and external personnel to support writing activitiesWrite executive summaries and pursuit materials that articulate the strategic messaging in a compelling mannerDevelop process improvements to help improve proposal qualityCapture, shape, and synthesize information to reflect a cohesive message, written in one voiceCollaborate with entire Proposal team to build creative and innovative materialTranslate highly technical information into clear, impactful, and grammatically correct contentManage developing and documenting the proposal plan, draft storyboards, development of proposal/win strategy, proposal team assignments, and initial proposal management planReview and adjust stock materials in response to changing market conditions and competitive intelligenceAssist with the development of graphics and visuals
What you'll need to excel:At a minimum, you'll need:Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience1 year of logistics, transportation, or relevant experienceAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPointExperience with Salesforce.com
It'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field3 years of logistics or transportation experienceExperience in project management; outstanding ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audienceStrong attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve issuesCapacity to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
