TECHNICAL TRAINER/TECHNICAL WRITER | REMOTE (EST)The Select Group is looking for a talented Technical Trainer/Writer to join one of our top clinical research partners. This person will provide enterprise-wide training and in-depth support on the computer policies and standard software/hardware. They will be working with other senior trainers to oversee daily training operations, coach new team members, lead team strategy sessions, and represent the team in meetings.

TECHNICAL TRAINER/TECHNICAL WRITER REQUIREMENTSPortfolio or work sample5+ years of experience creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for software, hardware, and e-learning content writing tools and methodologies (i.e., Technical Trainer, Instructional Designer, or e-Learner Developer)Current/recent experience with Captivate and Articulate Storyline 360Content creation experience using Confluence, and Jira for tacking and project managementHas a strong background in instructional design, multimedia integration, and technical trainingSkilled in AI technologies and LLMs (i.e., Copilot, ChatGPT, Jasper, DALL-E, GitHub, Scribe) for enhanced content creationStrong communicator and collaborator dedicated to high-quality documentation and training programs enhancing user experienceExperienced with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and SharePoint OnlineBonus:

Articulate Rise 360Healthcare/clinical research industry experience (i.e., CTMS)Azure cloud experienceTECHNICAL TRAINER/TECHNICAL WRITER RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead technical training projectsTechnical writing: Creation of quick reference cards, instructions, and learning centerPerform training needs assessments for assigned projectsDocument how-to-use client standard software/hardware, as well as related business processes and policiesParticipate in development of enterprise-wide policies governing technology useDesign, develop, promote, deliver, evaluate, and maintain instructor-led and computer-based training courses on use of DCRI standard software/hardwareProvide in-depth coaching/support for staff, executive management, and faculty on use of client standard software and hardwareManage class scheduling, materials inventory, and student records for assigned projectsFacilitate configuration of training lab computers for assigned projectsCross-train backup instructors for assigned projectsDesign, develop, and maintain Intranet sites for assigned projectsCross-train backup instructors for assigned projectsReview training/documentation deliverables developed by other team membersWork with team to manage Technical Training email and voicemailWork with team to establish training tools, processes, and promotional strategiesParticipate in client training initiativesWork on special projects as assignedTSG is an equal opportunity employer.
