OCI is seeking a motivated and organized Marketing Writing Content Specialist who loves planning events and content marketing to join our team. This role will ensure clear, consistent communication across various channels. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with excellent writing skills and a proactive approach to event planning.

This position is in-office with the option to work one day per week from home after 90 days employment. We like to have our people in the office to participate in our fun-loving company culture. The Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
Write personalized communications including but not limited to sales collateral, video scripts, holiday office closures, and more.Creating content for a variety of platforms including marketing materials, websites, social media, and moreProofreading and editing content before publishing.Assist with email marketing campaigns, e.g. announcements, webinar invitations, and recruiting/retargeting emails.Support fundraising goals for our annual charity event. Contact businesses for sponsorship requests and secure silent auction items.Proactively assist the Marketing Manager with event planning, including collaborating on event themes, contacting vendors, and day-of set up and tear down.Work with the HR team to send monthly internal communications newsletter.Schedule and organize webinars hosted in Zoom for the sales team.Coordinate with teams across OCI to ensure the timely delivery of projects.Research content and consumer trends to ensure our marketing efforts are relevant and effective.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.Proven experience in marketing, writing, communications, or a similar role.Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Previous Event planning experience preferredPrevious Experience with email marketing and campaign management.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with Canva, Zoom, Trello, MailChimp, and iContact preferred.
