To learn more about ARG, visit AllergyResearchGroup.com.ABOUT THE POSITIONAllergy Research Group® (ARG), seeks a passionate, experienced Product Manager to take our high-quality, practitioner-focused and retail supplements brands to their next levels of growth. As a skilled strategist and health and wellness enthusiast, you will orchestrate strategic positioning and messaging across our product lines, driving market penetration and adoption. You will develop category priorities and product line strategies for a broad product catalog and develop deep expertise regarding our products’ functions, formulations, business performance and the marketplaces in which they compete. Additionally, you will develop and manage omnichannel product marketing activities and play an active role in product life cycle management including innovation. This role will have a significant impact in shaping ARG’s business strategy and outcomes.WHAT YOU WILL DOFunction as the internal SME for all aspects of our product initiatives and offerings, deeply understanding their unique features, benefits, and customer impact.Manage a broad line of supplements that extend across a range of health and wellness categories and that are sold through healthcare practitioner, retail, e-commerce and direct channels.Develop and execute a comprehensive product portfolio strategy that aligns with the company’s overall vision and business goals.Identify category priorities and develop and execute product portfolio strategies within the key categories. Monitor and report on product line performance.Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that effectively conveys our unique value proposition for existing products and new product launches.Proactively manage product marketing activities to achieve sales goals and ensure our products stay competitive in the marketplace. Develop and refine assets to support the sales team.Manage and/or collaborate on all activities related to product management and product marketing including pricing, packaging, promotion, merchandising, communications, education, sales materials and more.Use data-driven insights to develop and maintain the product marketing calendar, omni-channel promotions plans and to manage product life cycles, including innovation, renovation, optimization and rationalization. Analyze omni-channel sales data, syndicated data, market research, customer feedback and inventory reports.Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products and customer preferences to develop and implement insights that inform product development and improve product marketing.Work cross-functionally to align and ensure successful initiatives and outcomesInform ARG B2B and B2C marketing efforts with respect to product focus and promotions.Participate in the development of annual marketing and content calendars, as well as ongoing updates.Ensure product content and messaging is optimized across all communications, including ARG website, Amazon product pages and sales materials.Assist with integration of new corporate branding and product packaging.RequirementsWHAT YOU WILL BRINGBachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred4+ years of product marketing experience across the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, with a preference for Health & Wellness, Vitamins and Supplements, or OTC Pharmaceutical industryOmni-channel marketing experience; healthcare practitioner channel experience preferredData-driven mindset with experience in leveraging insights to drive decision-makingExcellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively in written contentExperience working on product lines with a high number of SKUsExperience with P&Ls, budgeting, forecasting and business reportingExperience commercializing and launching new productsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisionsExperience writing packaging and other marketing copy highly desiredExperience working within regulatory requirementsStrong analytics with a track record of data-based decision making; experience working with large data sets and syndicated dataStrong Excel skills, familiarity with Project Management platforms (asana, trello, etc.), marketing automation and CRMAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, cross-functional team environmentBenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $110,000-120,000 USD/year. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: location, education, skills, training, and experience.
