Eventbrite, Canva, and

use of

Facebook, Instagram and

other social media platforms for business purposes (not just personal).

You are a creative, enthusiastic person with strong communication skills, good writing and organizational skills. You must have good problem solving skills, a very good phone voice and manner and the ability to work independently. Strong attention to detail is required.Work includes: In the fall, we are largely developing Boston Design Week for our spring launch.

You will assist with program development, initial promotions, organizing event information; expanding participant and sponsor mailing lists and contacts; media sponsor recruitment; distributing and following up materials to participants, sponsors, media sponsors and others; Facebook, Instagram and Twitter campaigns; internet research; creating and placing press releases; special promotions; and general office and public relations support.Qualifications:We need interns who can devote 2 or 3 days (10-15 hours) a week.

Ideally we are looking for interns who can work in our West Roxbury office, but we may allow some remote work as well.

We are NOT looking for someone who primarily wants to be a Graphic Designer.
