Job Description

- Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure system architecture- Lead and participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency and performance- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical support and guidance- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications- Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all implemented systems and processes including AD architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guides

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role with in-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture, components, and services- Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Active Directory Domain Services, including domains, forests, trusts, and replication- Experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to manage user and computer configurations across the network- Knowledge of implementing and managing Active Directory Federation Services for single sign-on (SSO) and authentication across organizational boundaries- Understanding of Active Directory Certificate Services for managing certificates and encryption within the customer environment- Strong understanding of Active Directory security concepts, including authentication mechanisms, access controls, and auditing- Experience in implementing and managing identity and access management solutions using Active Directory- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex Active Directory related issues, such as replication problems, authentication failures, and performance bottlenecks- Experience in monitoring Active Directory performance and metrics and implementing optimizations to improve system reliability and efficiency- Expertise in designing network infrastructure, storage solutions, server configurations, and virtualization environments- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)- Experience in deploying and configuring operating systems (Windows, Linux) and ensuring interoperability between different components of the IT infrastructure- Proficient with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell)- Knowledge in several third party products and how they integrate with and utilize Active Directory- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure issues- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders- Knowledge of security best practices, threat detection, and mitigation strategies to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data- Relevant certifications (8570 compliant)- Top Secret clearance
