Founded in 2019, Barefoot Scientist is a premium foot care line on a mission to treat foot care like skincare. The brand has been featured in titles like WHO WHAT WEAR, on TV with the TODAY Show and Good Morning America, and is growing in the Tik Tok and podcast communities. The Intern role for Barefoot Scientist is an opportunity to join a disruptive, digitally savvy beauty company to support our social media activity.JAPONESQUE is a company focused on developing strong marketing talent and we have hired several interns upon graduation from college.General Responsibilities:Reporting to the Senior Manager, the intern will primarily support the following for the Barefoot Scientist Brand.Social Media Content SupportIdeation & creation of new social content (photo & video)Support ideation for weekly trending contentSchedule monthly content for social accounts & write captionsCreate/schedule Instagram stories to improve engagementUGC/Creator Content SupportSupport in-house and/or agency UGC activity, organize and schedule content for social platformsIdentify 3-5 influencers to receive sample boxes and participate in paid campaigns each monthSupport & track weekly shipments for PR and paid influencer campaignsSocial Media Engagement SupportEngage daily on social media accounts to improve engagement rates & establish relationships with new communitiesEssential Skills & Characteristics:Enrolled in 4-year college with intent to graduate with a Business, Communications or similar degree.Can commute to San Ramon office 2x per weekCan commit to 15 hours of work per weekExperience on social platforms posting & creating video content and engaging with audiences.A strong interest in the beauty & wellness space preferred
