A day in the life.
As a Marketing Specialist on our team, you'll support our marketing efforts as well as individual producers in their efforts to nurture and develop engaged leads. The Marketing Specialist works directly with other members of the marketing team to ensure all projects adhere to departmental standards and support brand integrity, message consistency and communication efficiency.
This position has the ability to work out of any of our Michigan offices in Grand Rapids, Livonia or Troy.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:BA in Marketing, Communications or similar field, preferred.Minimum 2-3 years of marketing experience.Graphic design knowledge (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other applications such as Adobe; willing to attend training sessions if needed for other applications.Knowledge/basic understanding of database formatting. Familiar with Salesforce or similar CRM or sales management tools; willing to attend training sessions to ensure accurate usage.Familiar with Pardot or another marketing automation platform (Hubspot, Constant Contact, etc)Ability to use Internet, print publications and other tools for research and informational purposes.Excellent communication and telephone skills, required for successful daily interaction over the phoneAbility to communicate effectively with people at all levels, whether in person, video, telephone, or via email and written communications.Self-starter, with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.Ability to conceptualize and communicate employee group benefit products.Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
