As a Content Associate, Campaigns & Trend for MakerPlace, this role will partner to scale MakerPlace from its nascency to a fully operating and optimized business unit. Because MakerPlace is still a startup, this role will be dynamic and evolve as the business unit matures & evolves. As such, a self-starter with comfort in ambiguity will thrive.

Major Activities

Create an inspirational, seamless shopping experience to help drive brand perception, encourage basket building, and enhance conversion and customer satisfactionWork cross functionally between product, technology, creative, marketing and site merchandising teams to ideate and execute on editorialized content for seasonal/trend landing pages

Creative asset briefing and planningContent curationProviding product recommendations for product arraysInputting content into CMS system

Support manager in trend forecasting and planning seasonal contentSupport manager with content briefs & site content reviews (site pages, emails, social media posts, campaigns, etc..)Partner with Community Manager to implement a system to track featured sellers and productMonitor site page content for linking + corresponding product arraysPartner with Site Merchandising Team in product curation + assortment

Curate product arrays and PLPsPartner with site merchandising in informing curation direction

Collaborate with Site Ops Team on curation + pinning strategyAdmin duties including maintaining the site roadmap, site wireframes, editorial calendar, and archiving assetsOther duties as assigned

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Communication, or related field requiredMinimum 3+ years experience in site content, site merchandising, ecommerce, or equivalentExperience in consumer-focused eCommerce environment, preferably in lifestyle industry (fashion, home, beauty)Strong customer obsession focused on building the right site experience for our customerExperience using a CMS systemProficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Suite applicationsStrong understanding of trends and cultural zeitgeistCollaborative, inter-personal, self-starter with a "can-do" attitudeCreative & analytical Ability to interpret social trends, insights, and data and translate it into actionable business results
