The Opportunity:

Hamilton Lane is looking to hire a Sales Development and Marketing Analyst for our Technology Solutions Team. The Technology Solutions Team is responsible for developing, selling, and marketing our private markets reporting, diligence, and analytics solutions, anchored by our proprietary software product, Cobalt LP. Private Markets includes private equity, venture capital, growth equity, real assets and private credit.

Hamilton Lane is a leading provider in private markets technology solutions, and we work with Limited Partners invested in Private Markets to streamline their operations and investment practices through the use of cutting-edge technology. The Technology Solutions team is actively involved in client interaction and development as well as special projects and initiatives with all departments including: investments, research, business development, and relationship management.

Your responsibilities will be to:

Work directly with the Technology Solutions Sales Team to drive sales results. This person will be part of the sales team and function and act as the top of the "sales funnel", with the objective to increase sales leads and increase overall sales pipeline.Research targeted personas that would be good prospect candidates. Update and maintain marketing and sales distribution lists. Send personalized emails to drive engagement.Help develop sales enablement process within the team.Work on marketing deliverables. This includes excelling at developing PowerPoint presentations, brochures, and other sales materials.Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.Achieve or exceed goal for marketing qualified lead quota (in both quantity and quality) and ensure proper handoff to Sales Team.Offer Hamilton Lane / Tech Solutions resources (white papers, one-pagers, industry articles, etc.) to prospects in an attempt to foster a relationship and increase education in the early stages of the buying process.Leverage our CRM system and other relevant tools such as LinkedIn and industry databases to keep track of targeted contacts and manage daily activities.Your background will include:

Bachelor's degree, with a preference in Marketing and/or Finance0-4 years' experience. Prior success in sales or marketing preferred, but not required.Knowledge of the Investment Management industry is ideal but not requiredFamiliarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts), MS PowerPoint and any marketing design applications.Experience with CRM platformsUnderstanding of sales performance metricsExcellent communication and negotiation skills. Being comfortable making "cold-calls" is required.Ability to thrive in a metrics-driven sales environmentA "hunter" personality with a drive to reach decision-makers is essentialHighly coachable and eager to learn and grow in your careerDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsSelf-starter with a high degree of accountability and work ethic
