Overview:

We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy Marketer I to join our dynamic marketing team. Working on multiple projects, the ideal candidate will contribute to our social media platforms, create engaging and educational content, and monitor online conversations to ensure a positive brand image. This role requires a deep understanding of various social media platforms, video, graphic, and web design platforms, strong communication skills, and the ability to implement digital marketing strategies effectively. This position may be between 0.75 - 1.00 FTE depending on program needs and the candidate selected. View more information here: Summary of Benefits 2023-2024.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee all company social media accounts, including Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.Develop engaging, creative, and innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which may include images, videos, and written content.Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and online interactions promptly and professionally.Analyze social media insights to guide future content creation and campaign strategies.Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure brand consistency.Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.Assist in planning and implementing social media advertising campaigns.Maintain a cohesive social media calendar and schedule posts accordingly.Coordinate with community members to schedule and host online training opportunities for providers.Ensure all online/digital content is accessible and accurate, including creating transcripts and/or alt text for all created media.Manage listservs for disseminating content via email messaging for multiple projects.Build and manage websites to be user friendly and accessible on Utah States Omni platform.Produce infographics from current research in the field of disability to be shared with service providers.Design Canvas courses in collaboration with team members to educate and engage service providers with data surrounding disability services.Obtain contacts with lived experience to interview for Digital Storytelling video series highlighting experiences of diverse people with disabilities.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field or an equivalent of combined education and experience is required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.Demonstrated working knowledge of the disability field is preferred.Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences.Proficient in content creation and digital design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).Understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.Graphic design or video editing skills are a plus.Certification in Google Analytics or similar platforms is advantageous.
