Job DescriptionReports to the Associate Director for Partnership Operations .

Training, Communications, and Marketing Specialist is a multi-faceted position focused on working with the Partnership department leadership to develop communications and training materials. The goal is to allow SIL staff involved with developing partnerships with a clear understanding of SIL partnership strategies and skills needed to develop and maintain effective partnerships.As a Training, Communications, and Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing training programs, communication strategies, and marketing initiatives to support organizational' s partnership goals. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design compelling content, deliver impactful training sessions, and drive effective communication and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications1. The ideal candidate will have a versatile skill set, strong project management abilities, and a passion for promoting learning, engagement, and brand advocacy within the organization.2. Bachelor's degree in education, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.3. 3+ years of experience in training, communications, marketing, or a related role, with a focus on developing and delivering effective training programs and communication strategies.4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve measurable results.5. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.6. Proficiency or willingness to learn e-learning authoring tools, learning management systems, and marketing automation platforms.7. Experience in content creation, including writing, editing, and designing various types of content (e.g., articles, newsletters, social media posts, presentations).8. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, build relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous improvement.10. Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and marketing strategies and techniques.

Key Result Areas:KRA #1: Design, develop, and deliver training programs and materials to support organizational objectives, skills development, and leadership training.KRA #2: Conduct needs assessments and learning analyses to identify training gaps and develop targeted training solutions that meet the needs of diverse learner groups.KRA #3: Create engaging and interactive training content, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and multimedia resources.KRA #4: Facilitate training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels, using a variety of delivery methods and techniques to maximize learning outcomes.KRA #5: Develop and implement communication plans to support training initiatives, including announcements, newsletters, intranet content, and social media campaigns.KRA #6: Coordinate marketing efforts to promote training programs, events, and resources internally and externally, leveraging various channels and platforms.KRA #7: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness of training and communication materials.KRA #8: Monitor and evaluate training and communication effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, making recommendations for continuous improvement.KRA #9: Support other marketing initiatives as needed, including content creation, campaign development, and brand promotion activities.KRA #10: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in training, communications, and marketing, and incorporate them into organizational strategies and initiatives.

Salary Range:

$50,000-$60,000
