The recently launched media company is building a unique ecosystem of genre-specific studios such as Crime House and OpenMind, and working alongside the top creators to unveil an array of fresh content across video, audio, books, live experiences, merchandise and more. We are bringing creators, content and community together, paving the way for a new era in media.Overview:Were seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and data driven Social Media & Community Manager to lead social strategy, audience growth and community engagement. This includes overseeing content calendars, tracking analytics, and assisting with creating original social content. The ideal candidate is organized, data-driven, and passionate about social media, with the ability to analyze metrics and adapt strategies accordingly. This full-time position involves working closely with the Social Media Content Producer to ensure the execution of a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with audience habits, engagement and fostering long term relationships with our audience and fueling fandom. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are enthusiastic about media, entertainment, and community building, this role is for you!Essential Functions:Social Media Content Strategy and Creation:Lead the development and execution of campaigns and social plans developed for different audiences and genres including true crime, wellness, and others.Assist the Social Media Producer with drafting and reviewing social captions and copywriting.Provide support in graphics creation for social media posts as needed.Community EngagementEngage with followers and respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions across all platforms to foster a sense of community.Foster community participation through interactive content like polls, Q&A sessions, and user-generated content.Optimize content for searchability using relevant keywords, SEO and hashtags.Identify trending hashtags and participate in relevant conversations within the community.Monitor and flag sensitive or concerning content to maintain a positive community environment.Content Calendar Management:Develop and maintain a cohesive content calendar across all brands.Manage the vetting and review process for the content calendar, working closely with the VP, Communications and Brand Strategy and Social Media Content Producer to gather and pitch content ideas for the upcoming week.Ensure alignment of the posting schedule with audience habits, cultural moments and high engagement times.Analytics and Reporting:Track and report on social media KPIs, including engagement rates, follower growth, reach, impressions, and conversions.Conduct A/B testing to identify optimal content types and posting times.Compile weekly social media recap reports, highlighting top and low-performing posts and feedback.Set up monitoring tools to track mentions, trends, and audience sentiment, adapting strategies based on real-time data.Use internal and external social analytics and other internal data to inform strategy, iterate creative, and constantly learn to improve future campaigns.Conduct proactive research on competitors, emerging creators, and the latest social platform tools to maintain a cutting-edge understanding of best practices.Stay up-to-date with social media trends and platform updates to ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.Social Media Paid Advertising:Support strategic paid advertising efforts to boost key content and initiatives.Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bachelors degree, required.Experience working on broad, multi-platform marketing campaigns and delivering nuanced, insight-based social strategies.Strong experience building, executing, and scaling social media strategies across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.Knowledge of what works across various social platforms and experience in multi-channel distribution efforts.Data-driven with the ability to analyze, interpret, and articulate key metrics to inform strategies and drive improvements.Experience in social campaign management and communicating results to senior leadership.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Excellent verbal and communication skills across all levels.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.Entrepreneurial spirit and highly collaborative - loves working with others, but isnt afraid to lead or take risks.Experience using data and intuition to create engaging, attention-grabbing content.Experience with content creation and editing programs such as Canva, social media tools (Later, Sprinklr, Spredfast, Sprout, Keyhole, Julius and/or other similar software) and data tracking platforms.Passion for media, entertainment, and community building.Physical and Mental Demands:Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a safe and prudent manner.Ability to work and communicate well with other employees, management, individuals well-known to the public, creators, and studios.Ability to perform work utilizing manual dexterity of the hands.Ability to reach above and below shoulders, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, climb, kneel, push and/or pull, and twist.Ability to read, write, and understand English.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work in the Los Angeles PAVE Studios office environment on a full-time basis, with some night and weekend work, as required.Ability to effectively manage and process challenging and sensitive subjects, including difficult and dark topics.Correctable vision and hearing.Benefits:100% employer paid Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for employee-only coverage.Competitive Paid Time Off.Floating Holiday Time.Paid Company Holidays.Sick Leave in accordance with California law.Compensation Range:
