Role Summary

A Terrain Design Supervisor is responsible for driving sales by providing the highest level of service through expert knowledge, design, and leadership for the Design by Terrain program. They along with a team of Artisans uphold terrain's four promises: to welcome, to inspire, to inform and to appreciate our customer.

Role Responsibilities

Customer ExperienceExceeds customer expectations by building genuine, long lasting relationships through personalized attention; ensure prompt customer communication with project inquiresShares product knowledge, new arrivals, and current trends to inspire the customer; guides customer choices to reflect their unique personal stylePlans and hosts workshops and special events in their area of expertise shares details to promote Terrain's unique events, as well as drive engagement and participationDelivers a seamless shopping experience through understanding and utilization of systems and applications for an efficient customer interactionTeamwork + Communication

Exhibits strong communication while actively participating in daily meetings and projects; shares passion for plant, horticulture, and floral design & garden styleTakes initiative and works productively with the team to achieve common, collaborative design goalsDemonstrates adaptability by redirecting display priorities as needed to work through problem-solving scenariosVisual + Business Operations

Understands the terrain aesthetic and partners with design leadership to create compelling merchandise displays and installationsCollaborates and communicates with the nursery, event, and operations teams to ensure proper care and restocking of plant displays; maintains cleanliness and organization of back of house display areasLeads an area of specialty to provide elevated knowledge to customers and associates in a meaningful and interesting wayAdheres to store's safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the storeRole Qualifications

Experience in customer serviceExperience in horticultural and floral designBasic knowledge of hand tools, wire usage, and glue gunsArt and design backgroundAbility to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay Range

Starting from USD $23.00/Hr.
