We are seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist to oversee internal and external communication-related activities. Responsibilities include managing our intranet software, public relations, messaging and memos, newsletters content creation, HR communications and Marketing/HR support. Candidate must have experience in external communication efforts including controlling information output and handling incoming requests for information from media outlets.

This individual needs to bring an innovative and creative capability to our team. Working under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist responsibilities include:

Brand Ambassador - Managing Internal/External Communication & PRBuilding and maintaining positive public image and brand reputation for the companyCreating press releases & responding to media inquiries and requestsPublishing content through social media and other communication effortsWriting and editing communications for internal & external clientsManage media relationships, arrange interviews, statements etc.

Enhanced communication strategies for our companyDemonstrate professionalism in a friendly demeanorCommunicate effectively in both written and spoken communicationsEvaluating and contributing to marketing efforts to ensure messaging is correct

Manage Netpresenter platformInternal messaging for keeping employees engaged

Coordinate communications flows with HR & Marketing:Press releases/ Internal Memos/ Corporate event promotionsDigital signage /HR Communications

“MyStellar” Intranet content managementManage weekly updates across the platformEngage with Groups to ensure new content is being addedOffer creative ways to engage employees

Quarterly Newsletter ManagementGathering and writing content for the newsletterReporting on corporate activities and events across the various locations

Attend Employee Engagement Events: Photo taking, story write upsBuild long-term relationships with influencers and key stakeholdersCollaborate with Marketing/HR teamsMinimum qualifications:

4+ years’ experience managing and coordinating communication efforts & press releases. This is a primary function for this position.Bachelor’s degree in communications or related fieldProficient in Adobe Creative CloudProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Proficient in Windows 7 and newerWell organized, good communicator, good speller, good knowledge of grammar, good proof-readerAdditional qualifications:

Knowledge of Marketing/Sales Software: Hubspot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics is a plusKnowledge of Netpresenter software is a plusKnowledge of design and construction industry is a plusAbout Stellar
