Overview:

Job PurposeIntercontinental Exchange (ICE) hosts and participates in conferences, webinars and our own unique hosted forums that attract top corporate leaders from around the world. We are looking for a candidate to join our team as an event planner to assist with the events we host and participate in for our FIDS and Exchange business. The position will plan and execute digital and in-person events across the US. This role will have a strong focus on hosted event creation and event management to deliver the most successful experience for all audiences and those involved, internally and externally. The successful candidate will have a track record of successfully handling stakeholders at all levels. Attention to detail, ability to manage within a high demand environment with multiple deliverables and a focus on execution and results are a must.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the management and execution of all logistical and operational aspects for digital and in-person events.Maximize ICE brand across all events illustrating our core leadership across derivative markets and Fixed Income & Data Services.Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan, manage and execute hosted events, sponsored events and webinars across the company.Help negotiate and facilitate value for money contracts with event venues, hotels, caterers/restaurants, audio visual vendors, etc. in conjunction with procurement. Ensure maximization of value across all external events.Partner with Growth Marketing, Social and Content Teams to repurpose content and help extend the life of events.Understand cross-company business objectives to help establish and maintain strong event marketing presence.In collaboration with the marketing team, manage and maintain event marketing budgets and closely manage expenses for listed company, proprietary and partnered events.Partner and collaborate with business units and external parties through transparency and constant communication, as well as timely responses to all inquiries and requests.Identify and communicate areas for improvement including process and cost efficiencies and strategic alignment across departments.Knowledge and ExperienceBachelors degree3+ years of experience in corporate events managementPositive attitude and strong people personExperience in webinar managementExceptional analytic, project management and organizational skills; the ability to juggle multiple demands, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and approach based on specific audiencesDemonstrated success with developing positive relationships with clients, other third parties and internal partnersExperience with content creation and agenda development preferredAbility to work in a highly collaborative environment and as part of a cross-disciplinary teamDemonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skillsExperience using ON24, Zoom, Eloqua, Salesforce, Monday.com and other marketing tools a plusScheduleThis role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.New York Base Salary RangeThe expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 72,100 - 97,900 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchanges incentive compensation.
