Position Overview for the Solar Designer:Lead utility design team to develop utility-scale solar energy projects.Collaborate with team members to produce site plans, engineering & construction drawings, and details for Utility Scale Solar PV systems.Contribute to the continual improvement of solar engineering standards and processes, while staying up to date on industry standards and policies.Utilize several drafting and design software to render 2D and 3D models including but not limited to: AutoDesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other CADD programs.Required Skills for the Solar Designer:
Experience designing and drafting both 2D and 3D models using Autodesk Civil 3D or AutoCAD, or other CADD software.Civil design & site layout experience using Autodesk Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStationAssociate's degree or certificate in Engineering Design, Drafting, or similar focus preferred with eight or more years of relevant professional experience preferred.What's in it for you?
