Purpose:

Cahaba Medical Care is committed to providing quality healthcare to underserved communities, and we are seeking a Marketing Specialist driven by a passion for service and health equity to promote our mission through effective marketing strategies. This role involves project management, graphic design, website development, SEO, creating marketing collateral tailored for underserved communities, and managing our social media presence. The ideal candidate will have a degree in marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Manage Multiple Social Media Platforms: Develop and implement social media strategies, create engaging content, monitor trends, and analyze the effectiveness of social media campaigns.Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Community Development Director to execute marketing plans that promote access to quality healthcare for underserved communitiesManage marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high qualityManage and develop content for our waiting room patient communication platform (Relevant TV)Design marketing materials, including print materials, digital content, and social media graphics, that are aligned with our mission and appeal to our target audienceMaintain website content, ensuring that the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for search enginesConduct SEO research and analysis to ensure website content is optimized for search engines and improve website rankingTake photos for marketing purposesWork with the Marketing Manager to promote brand awareness through marketing efforts that reflect our commitment to social justice and health equityOther duties as assigned by the Marketing ManagerWork closely with the community development teamAnalyze data to determine campaign efficiencyEnsure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelinesDevelop and implement marketing plansAbility to create marketing analysis/ reportQualifications:

Loves to learnA passion for serving underserved communities and promoting health equityBachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field1-2 years of marketing experience in a healthcare setting, preferably serving underserved communitiesProficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Google SuiteWorking knowledge of web design tools such as WordPress, Squarespace, or WixExperience with SEO and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or MozExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentProject management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesFamiliarity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, Basecamp or WrikeA marketing degree is preferred, but not requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentHighly organized and detail-oriented

Physical Requirements:

This position may require standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods of time. The employee may also need to lift or move up to 30 pounds.

Work Environment:

This position will primarily work in an office environment but may be required to travel between health centers and attend community events and other offsite meetings. As a member of our mission-driven team, the Marketing Specialist will help us promote health equity and social justice in our communities.
