User Experience Researcher
foran immediate contract engagement with our government client.
Work Location: This position is hybrid.
Job Description :
Our client is transforming how our community interacts with state services. As a UX Researcher, you'll enhance the customer journey for impactful projects across state. Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and designers, and be an advocate for our users. Conduct upfront user research and share insights with the agency program.
Responsibilities :• Lead and co-lead user research activities including workshops, interviews, focus groups, and usability testing.• Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies.• Organize and evaluate both quantitative and qualitative research.• Conduct market and ethnographic research.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics and approaches.• Challenge existing processes and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.• Present research findings to program owners and stakeholders.• Gather and analyze data.• Utilize a diverse set of UX research tools.
Required Skills:Minimum of five years of UX research experience.Strong understanding of UI Design.Creating wireframes and prototypes using tools like Figma or Sketch.Developing user personas and journey maps.Empathy mapping.Leading user workshops and facilitation sessions.Generating insights from data and sharing research results.Planning and conducting usability tests.Research-related tasks including planning, evaluating, and iteration.Formulating specific, practical questions.Collaborating with stakeholders and acting as a strategic partner in decisions.Using remote testing tools.Creating formal presentations and user findings reports.Presenting findings and recommendations to executive sponsors and stakeholders.Available Benefits:
