Your New Role...

The Director of the Motion Picture Analytics and Forecasting group will spearhead advanced analytics initiatives that underpin strategic decision-making for our motion pictures portfolio. The role involves leading a talented team dedicated to optimizing market impact and profitability through sophisticated analytics across multiple facets of the business. Additionally, the leader will be responsible for developing and maintaining a single set of global performance forecasts for the Motion Picture Group that will be communicated to senior leadership.

Your Role Accountabilities...KPI Tracking, Dashboarding, and Reporting: Design and manage complex KPI systems to track, report, and derive insights from key business metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.Box Office Forecasting and Predictive Analytics: Direct predictive modeling and analytics to forecast box office performance, leveraging cutting-edge statistical and machine learning techniques.Marketing Efficiency and Media Mix Optimization: Strategically manage and enhance marketing spend efficiency across diverse media channels through comprehensive performance data analysis.Customer Modeling and Audience Targeting: Implement advanced demographic and behavioral data techniques to segment audiences and customize marketing strategies.Media Performance and Attribution Analytics: Evaluate media performance, attributing successes and identifying improvement areas to optimize future media strategies.Event Tracking & Uplift Analysis: Analyze the influence of promotional events on movie performance and viewer engagement, adjusting strategies as needed based on analytical insights.Cross-Regional and Cross-Functional Insights: Foster collaboration across regional and functional boundaries within the company to ensure alignment and integration of analytics initiatives.Windowing and Content Sales Analytics: Analyze and determine the optimal timing and sequence for content releases across various platforms and regional markets to enhance revenue opportunities.Qualifications & Experience...

Education:

Master's degree or higher in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field.Experience:

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably within the entertainment or media sectors.Technical Proficiency:

Advanced skills in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and other analytics tools.Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a team to achieve excellent results.Analytical Expertise:

Superior analytical capabilities with a proven track record of leveraging data to influence business decisions.Industry Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of the motion pictures industry and current market dynamics.Communication:

Exceptional communication skills, adept at presenting complex data in an understandable form.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $167,020.00 - $310,180.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
