JOB DESCRIPTION

OutKick is looking for a highly motivated and driven Manager, Marketing to further propel growth across platforms. OutKick is already one of the fastest-growing national multimedia platforms nationwide, producing and distributing unique and engaging written content and a full slate of shows covering the intersection of sports and culture.

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that promote the OutKick brand and the OutKick.com site to wide audiences across all platforms. We are looking for a talented individual who can bring fresh ideas, innovative approaches, and an entrepreneurial spirit to our marketing efforts, driving growth. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop, plan, and implement strategic marketing initiatives to promote the OutKick brand and OutKick.com across all platforms including social media, on-air booking, digital marketing, and paid marketing teams

Create and manage marketing campaigns that effectively reach, engage, and convert target audiences.

Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand messaging consistency and alignment with company values, including creative, production, programming, and product teams. Project management and coordination between teams will be critical to this role.

Conduct market research and develop insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.

Monitor and analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for brand differentiation.

Oversee the creation and production of all go-to-market consumer-facing marketing materials in collaboration with the talent, production, and creative teams. These materials will include print, digital, and video content such as static graphics, on-air promo spots, social media posts, and videos, email assets, and copy.

Coordinate with the retention team on CRM initiatives to grow the email opt-in file and engage with the existing and prospective Outkick.com audiences.

Manage the budget for brand marketing initiatives and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.

Stay up-to-date with industry developments and continuously seek opportunities for innovation in branding and marketing.

Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies to support marketing efforts.

Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and meet brand marketing goals and objectives. Maintain a strong understanding of the OutKick brand and ensure all marketing efforts align with the company's values and mission.

Communicate and present marketing strategies and results to key stakeholders within the organization.

Comfortable with high levels of ownership.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

5-7 years of experience within a fast-paced media or brand marketing team

Energetic with a can-do attitude.

Excellent time management skills; able to manage concurrent projects of varying size and complexity.

Responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and ever-changing environment.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $75,000.00-100,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
