WHO WE ARE

Level99 is a first-of-its-kind entertainment experience, which opened its proof-of-concept venue in Natick MA in June 2021. A massive World of Challenges, over 48,000 square feet in size, Level99 offers a physical open-world game environment where groups of 2-6 guests choose from over 40 rooms, each containing a unique physical or mental team challenge. Coupled with craft drinks and food in the Night Shift Beer Hall and an authentic brewery dining experience in the Night Shift Tap Room & Kitchen, Level99 is an exciting new entertainment experience designed for young adults. JOB DESCRIPTION

The Interior Designer will play a key role in creating immersive and visually stunning environments that captivate our guests, in spaces ranging from dining areas, to our immersive gameplay arena, to customer support spaces . You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to bring our creative visions to life. This is an exciting opportunity to push the boundaries of design and create immersive spaces that leave a lasting impression on our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop innovative and highly functional interior design concepts and studies to help with evaluating design alternatives that align with the overall creative vision of the Level99 experience.ollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of interior design elements with other artistic and technical aspects of the experiences.Create detailed interior design plans, including floorplans, layouts, takeoffs, and assembling choices on materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and artwork, while considering factors such as functionality, safety, and durability.Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the quality and uniqueness of our experiences.Provide guidance and support to production teams during the fabrication and installation processes to ensure accurate execution of the interior design concepts.Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to source and select materials, furniture, and decor items that align with the creative vision and meet budgetary requirements.Present design concepts, mood boards, and visualizations to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and refining designs as necessary.Think high-level (strategically) to align interior design choices with our voice and concept essence, creating design criteria and success criteria to systematize our design processMaintain documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and schedules, to ensure clear communication and seamless coordination among project teamsWork with the team to develop and refine Level99's design standards and a best-in-class "kit of parts" playbook for new venue developmentMaintain a positive, upbeat, pro-active attitude and inspire the same in fellow team membersOther duties, as assignedMUST-HAVE SKILLS

Minimum 3 years' post-collegiate experience designing hospitality/retail/restaurant projects.Minimum 1 year' experience overseeing the design of restaurants or similar foodservice projects, with knowledge of health code requirements and restaurant infrastructure (HVA and exhaust systems, kitchen equipment, etc.)Knowledge of industry trends and best practicesAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExcellent spatial awareness and attention to detailProficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar 3D visualization toolsFlexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritiesStrong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitudeWillingness to "roll up your sleeves" and get into the details as a team player with a "get things done" proactive attitudeOTHER DESIRABLE (BUT NOT NECESSARY) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE INCLUDE

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
