The marketing function works across a range of cross-sector programs, IP, events, partnerships and employee initiatives, all with the aim to create a pipeline of content across channels and formats that brings fame and recognition to Edelman whilst driving growth through lead generation and engagement with clients and prospects. You will work as part of the regional team with a view to develop and execute the marketing and communications strategy for the agency’s largest region.In this role, the Senior Vice President will manage and co-ordinate all day-to-day marketing activity, with a focus on planning, project management, reporting, delivering lead gen campaigns, and executing initiatives and campaigns that support the firm’s growth strategy.This role is for someone with significant, well-rounded B2B marketing experience whose core skill set combines brand and reputation management, digital marketing, event presence and execution, lead generation and employee engagement.

Work alongside the Head of Marketing, US to execute a US marketing and communications strategy that supports Edelman’s business plan and growth strategy.Develop and maintain an activity calendar and briefing documents for all marketing campaigns and initiatives ensuring they are aligned to clear and achievable objectives and deadlines.Oversee the day-to-day execution of the marketing team’s activity and core team, including corporate communications, PR, events, content, IP, digital, case studies, and CRM management.Lead team members on a day-to-day basis to ensure that deadlines are being met, and projects and campaigns are delivered on time with high-quality execution.Deliver regular reporting that captures performance across campaigns for multiple audience, including executive leadership teams.Manage marketing budget on a day-to-day basis, partnering closely with core team to track progress and effective use of budget to ensure positive ROI.Play a strategic role within the business to input to and drive important business critical initiatives including diversity and inclusion, employee experience– including how they impact both our internal and external reputation.Drive forward multi-channel campaigns that support the business’ growth areas.Develop and implement media strategies that positions Edelman and its employees as leaders within the marketing, communications and creative industries.Curate and manage a pipeline of profiling opportunities for executives and experts from across the business to elevate the profile of the agency and its talent.Act as brand guardian by ensuring output of high-quality and inspiring content.

Basic Requirements:

7-12 years of experience in Marketing and Communications.A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Preferred Qualifications:

Significant, well-rounded marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility with a minimum of five years of experience.Ability to interpret and operationalize business strategy, aligning team activities, ensuring efficient and effective operational excellence that support business goals.Galvanizing, energetic and empathetic leadership – someone who empowers and coaches teams to deliver success whilst being an effective decision maker who provides leadership across planning, creation and execution of all marketing activity.Demonstrable project management skills and an innate capacity for organization.Robust understanding of current and future integrated marketing concepts, strategy and best practice.Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.Excellent copywriting and editing skills.Proven ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders.Work collaboratively across functions to deliver results in all parts of the business and bring a business partnership mindset to the role.Demonstrable knowledge of current affairs, trends and industry topics.Demonstrable knowledge in digital marketing systems, including web, CRM and paid media, and creating effective lead gen campaigns.Experience in dealing with the media.Friendly, approachable manner with a flexible attitude to work, with the ability to build relationships collaboratively across the business at all levels.Ability to use own initiative whilst working to tight deadlines in a demanding environment.Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Teams.

Salary: $122,000 - $210,000 a year. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
