We are seeking an industry marketing leader with product and solutions marketing experience for global “Go-To-Market” responsibility for AspenTech’s Power & Utilities Industry Marketing with a focus on the Digital Grid Management suite and pipeline management solution. The role, reporting to the SVP of Product Marketing, will lead a team of product marketing professionals and work cross-functionally to develop strategies, messaging and tactics that deliver business growth and help scale customer adoption of products. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a background in product marketing of software solutions, and domain experience in the power and utilities industry, specifically generation, transmission, and distribution, who can make immediate contributions to the organization.Your Impact

Lead a team of product marketing professionals.Set the vision for the team, and plan and manage work to meet objectives.Communicate effectively with senior management and across functions to ensure alignment.Continuously assess competencies and develop plans to support the growth of the team.Develop Go-to-Market strategies in close collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Product Management, to ensure company financial growth initiatives and market goals are met or exceeded.Identify and develop routes to market to ensure market reach and penetration goals are met or exceeded.Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute sales strategy.Collaborate with product management and sales leadership to ensure pricing and packaging strategies support Go-to-Market strategy.Develop compelling messaging supporting thought leadership positioning.Develop persona-based, value-oriented product messaging to enable sales to sell more effectively and support Go-To-Market strategies and marketing campaigns.Design and execute product marketing campaigns that support Go-To-Market objectives.Collaborate with product, marketing, and field organizations to build high impact tactical plans.Develop creative content for product collateral, video, web, and social media programs to communicate key messages and drive product demand and adoption.Work closely with marketing to understand campaign effectiveness and develop strategies to shift or enhance as needed.Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage their cross-functional implementation.Create sales enablement tools to support effective and efficient engagement with target customers.Create a set of sales tools that support the AspenTech sales process.Develop programmatic live and on-demand sales training.Be the expert on the competition and how to win against them.Support customer advisory programs.Collaborate with product management to engage representative customer stakeholders to uncover market problems, test and validate potential solutions, Go-To-Market strategies, and product positioning.What You'll Need

Bachelor’s degree required. Graduate degree preferred.Minimum of 15 years power & utilities Industry and/or software product marketing experience with at least 5 years of management experience.Strategic-thinker capable of building collaborative cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.Power and Utilities industry domain knowledge (Generation, Transmission and Distribution).Action-oriented with skills to drive challenging projects to successful conclusion.Proven ability to establish new ways of working and driving continuous improvement.Strong experience in developing skills of the extended organization.Skilled at distilling the complex into clear and concise form, verbally and in written word.Ability to travel up to 25%.About Us If you're looking to make a difference every day and push the limits of performance, AspenTech is doing things no one else thought was possible.
