Job Description

Nemours is seeking a Director of Enterprise Social Media to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Jacksonville, FL or Wilmington, DE.

The Director of Enterprise Social Media is responsible for the enterprise-wide strategy and leading the social media program for the Nemours Children's and Nemours KidsHealth brands, including on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and more. As the key architect of the enterprise's social media landscape, this individual collaborates with cross-functional teams, manages a dedicated team of social media professionals, and leverages their expertise to drive strategic initiatives for the enterprise. This role is also responsible for monitoring analytics, staying abreast of industry trends, and proactively identifying innovative approaches to maintain Nemours Children's Health's leadership in pediatric healthcare.

This role also contributes to the digital content strategy of Nemours Children's Health, developing and overseeing the implementation of creative, engaging, and accurate content for social media distribution, including patient stories, physician profiles, associate features, stories for the Nemours Blog, and more. This position works closely with the Director of Digital Analytics to ensure all digital content creation is informed by SEO trends and keywords, the Director of Digital Marketing to align organic and paid social media content strategies for Nemours Children's and Nemours KidsHealth, and the Directors of Strategic Marketing in Florida and the Delaware Valley to ensure alignment with ongoing marketing campaigns for each service line.

The Director of Enterprise Social Media also supports the creation and execution of the President & CEO's social media content, and supports executives and physician leaders strategy on their personal channel(s) to increase their social media presence to showcase their thought leadership. In addition, the director leads training and policy development for social media use by all associates to elevate Nemours' national brand and reputation.

The Director also oversees the digital properties that impact reputation (i.e., Google My Business listings for locations and physicians), contributes to risk management, implements crisis communication plans, and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

In addition to internal stakeholders, the Director of Social Media works with all external hospital partners and sponsors as well as develop a social media influencer program to amplify Nemours Children's among their audiences. This includes the Philadelphia Phillies, Jacksonville Jaguars, THE PLAYERS Championship, Wolfson Children's Hospital, University of Central Florida College of Medicine, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, the American Heart Association, and more.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of exceeding performance goals, fostering social media audience engagement, effectively leading teams, and driving innovative content strategies in the healthcare sector. The Director is a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team, tasked with helping to develop and leverage best practices across the enterprise.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred

10-15 years of experience in social media omni platform optimization and content development. 5-7 years of experience in team building and management
