With empathy and curiosity, you and your team will design the future of workplace collaboration and shape the way millions of people communicate every day. You will also lead design practices to inform and define strategy by partnering closely with leaders in design, product, engineering, and AI.
This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and will report directly to Zoom's Chief Design Officer.

Zoom Rooms is our industry-leading offering for conference rooms and workspaces, bringing the innovation of Zoom to all of the physical spaces where people work.
ResponsibilitiesManaging, hiring, and mentoring a global team of world-class designers of all experience levels.Understanding the needs of the business and setting expectations with cross-functional partners around design and creative resourcing for deadline-driven commitments.Partnering with other design leaders and Zoom's executive team to create design strategy and implement priorities at a global scale.Partnering with research, content, design systems, and customer-facing teams to facilitate creative problem solving and deepening opportunities for innovation.Defining and refining best practices for rituals like design critiques and sprints for a distributed and boundary-pushing team.Enabling smooth peer learning and information sharing across projects/design roles.
What we’re looking for5+ years of experience leading and managing a team of designers working on complex digital products, in large, cross-functional teams.Experience both leading designers and being hands-on with design workDeliver high quality products and experiences at scale.Experience in interaction design and methodologies for desktop, mobile, and other devices.Champion data-driven decision-makingExperience working on Enterprise SAAS products or complex systems (e.g. Software Tools, Video editing, Immersive computing, OS/Firmware, etc.)Work with Figma (our primary tool).Value AI and has a passion in this spaceExperience: Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline.Salary Range or On Target Earnings:Minimum:$140,400.00 Maximum:$324,500.00#J-18808-Ljbffr
