We are a values-based agency that uses our extensive experience in the social change sector to work one-on-one with our clients to help them develop meaningful philanthropic endeavors that speak to their values as well as to the needs of a more inclusive, supportive, and healthy society.Social Media & MarketingDevelop content strategy in collaboration with thought leadership team and other stakeholders to drive measurable results.Identify opportunities to use Ph?las advisory and fiscal sponsorship work to create content.Work collaboratively with the team to curate a monthly newsletter and a client-facing newsletter that shares insights in the field of philanthropy.Keep track of team events (webinars, presentations, podcasts) and integrate them into the social media schedule.Project-manage firm-wide content creation and design, including developing an editorial calendar, sourcing for new topics, engaging with other social accounts, posting content on social channels, and ensuring deadlines are met.Work collaboratively with the team to develop engaging content that is educational and informative.Share content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence, social media presence, and brand awareness; serve as point person for leveraging and sourcing PR opportunities.Present quarterly reports to the team on social media growth and campaign activity, web traffic metrics, and Google Analytics.Support other marketing, internal communications, thought leadership, and knowledge management efforts as needed.General AdministrationSupport business development by keeping track of and organizing new contacts into the firm's CRM.Co-develop and maintain a portfolio of external events that the Ph?la team is participating in.Edit, proofread, and improve team-written publications, articles, and posts.Serve as the point person on moving action steps forward, providing reminders to the Ph?la team (newsletters, new contacts, sharing collaborative templates), when needed.Maintain social media templates for archival use.Maintain a portfolio of Team Events for archival/reflective use.Update the company's Linktree (and other live platforms) on a monthly basis.QualificationsExperience in a communications, marketing or business development role in philanthropy, consulting, law firm or nonprofit sector strongly desired.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Mailchimp, G-Suite, and ideally Smartsheet; Adobe is a plus.Keen analytical skills that allow for accurate assessments of quantitative and qualitative data.Adept project manager capable of leading multiple work streams toward deadlines and juggling changing priorities.Empathetic and experienced communicator, able to align your style to the sensibilities and language of the target audience.Skilled writer and editor in terms of structure, grammar, messaging, focus, and tone.Commitment to accuracy and a keen eye for details.Natural self-starter with ability to work autonomously and with teams in a virtual setting.Enthusiasm for teamwork; dedication to diversity, integrity, and transparency.Generally positive, optimistic and a self-starter.Values learning and has a strong sense of curiosity about people and the world.Ability to thrive in and navigate ambiguity.Education and ExperienceDemonstrated content marketing expertise.Experience using a CRM, marketing automation tools, and social media in a professional context.Demonstrated experience creating, posting and managing content across various mediums (i.e. social media, blogs, vlogs, print).Experience in the social sector (philanthropic, nonprofit, or impact investing fields) is a plus, but not mandatory.Bachelor's degree preferred.Additional AttributesPh?la Giving is a small, intimate environment where shared values are very important.
