Reference #: 128485-1 Clarivate is seeking a skilled Senior UX Designer to join our growing, global User Experience team! As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will work closely with users and internal stakeholders from around the globe to design responsive products and applications. In this role, you will be helping to design expectational user experiences across a suite of tools that support scholarly research, funding and publishing.

With continually evolving business needs, this position requires an individual who is independent and can successfully work in a dynamic environment. Deadline driven project assignments and our iterative approach to development processes require a professional with excellent adaptability and communication skills. About you -- experience, education, skills, and accomplishments...

5+ years of experience in a design-related discipline Bachelor's degree AND/OR equivalent training/professional work experience in one of the following areas or a related field - Library Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Cognitive Psychology, Graphic Design, Visual Communications 2+ yearsproficiency in rapid wire-framing and prototyping tools (Figma, Axure, InVision and Sketch) A portfolio demonstrating your experience creating great user-centered designs

Adept experience in the design and documentation of complex interfaces Expertise in modern visual design and interactive product design Thorough understanding of modern web technologies Proven ability to effectively interact and collaborate in a cross-discipline and creative team comprised of users, user experience designers, product managers, developers and executive leaders Comfort level working with a distributed (global) team Experience in data visualization Current or prior experience working in the Academic Research & Publishing space Experience partnering closely with Product Management to improve, evolve and innovate supported products Extensive experience and competency performing and analyzing usability research Passion for delivering the best user experience possible Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects

What will you be doing in this role?...

Identify user needs and requirements by working closely with internal and external stakeholders

Plan and manage time appropriately to deliver high quality work on time

Translate requirements into highly usable, efficient and delightful user interface designs:

Design and specify product experience concepts using iterative design techniques, including persona creation, journey mapping, customer research and usability testing Participate in design and implementation reviews Create wireframes, prototypes, information architecture, pattern libraries, standards and guidelines Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and identifyadditional research needs Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually Specify design and interaction requirements for development teams Collaborate with development teams to ensure consistent and standardized designs across our products
