Position Purpose:
Marketing Technology & Process Enablement serves to enhance Marketing capabilities by driving continuous improvement in process design and MarTech stack innovation, partnering with Product and IT stakeholders to support the implementation of new solutions for Marketing. The Manager is primarily responsible for distilling enterprise, Marketing, and Product strategy into an executable roadmap for the Marketing Technology & Process Enablement function. This leader will direct Sr. Analysts and Analysts in day-to-day delivery of core Marketing Technology & Process Enablement projects-ensuring operational excellence, evaluating 3rd party MarTech vendor scorecards, and facilitating effective Marketing workflow intake and prioritization.
In collaborating with peers in Marketing, Product, IT, and EUX, the Manager will serve as a trusted representative of Marketing Technology & Process Enablement. Furthermore, they will forge lasting partnerships with external partners-owning contract negotiations and defining measures of success. They will showcase strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills-proactively proposing solutions and effectively coaching a team of Sr Analysts and Analysts. In this role, Manager, Marketing Tech & Process Enablement will be accountable for delivering team projects on time and at budget, developing business cases for new MarTech solutions, and mentoring Marketing Tech & Process Enablement talent.
Key Responsibilities:
25% Analyze Technology - Analyze marketing technology current uses and gaps and leverage findings to help identify necessary features and enhancements and/or new solutions to solve their needs. Develop KPIs to measure ongoing business impacts.
25% Business Partnership - Gather business requirements and draft documentations outlining key needs and objectives. Effectively partner with MarTech and engineering teams to prioritize requests, roadmaps and overall governance of the systems.
25% Relationship Management - Ownership of third-party relationships. Oversee project scope, SOWs and contractual negotiations.
25% Subject Matter Expert for Marketing - Serve as the SME for marketing technology solutions and internal software tools. Conduct competitive research and analysis of other offerings. Ensure appropriate change management, user training, project roll out and ongoing support of technology solutions.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
This position reports to the Sr Manager, Operations Process
This position has 3 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Applied marketing automation best practices with a detailed understanding of marketing process and marketing technology solutions
Experience in software testing, business analysis and/or workflow development
Change management leadership with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once
Strong understanding of modern marketing processes and technology capabilities around the following areas: Marketing Resource Management, Marketing Analytics, and Customer Data Management
Preferred Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree
Preferred Work Experience: 10 + years of previous related work experience
Minimum Education:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
