Position Purpose:

The Senior Analyst, Marketing Experimentation & Personalization helps in designing and implementing experiments, analyzing results, making recommendations based on findings, developing personalization strategies, designing new analytical platforms, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality analytics solutions for the Home Depot. This newly formed team is seeking expert individual contributors in experimentation and marketing analytics to drive our marketing and personalization initiatives. The ideal candidate will be skilled in advanced analytics and analytical tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, Adobe Analytics, and Tableau. They will also possess expertise in Applied Statistics, Data Science, Marketing analytics & Experimentation principles.

Key Responsibilities:20% Work with other departments providing analytical insight on business performance.20% Research and analyze business trends & customer behavior data to identify opportunities for website enhancements.20% Analyze web analytics data as well as other offline data to evaluate site performance.10% Work with the Web Analyst to provide weekly Web Analytic dashboards.10% Takes the lead on new programs and initiatives for Web Analytics Team.10% Provide web analytics strategy to Specialty Channel.Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, etc.) or relevant work experience6+ years of experience in in data mining, statistical analysis, auditing, and/or forecastingDemonstrated expertise on data analysis and data visualization.Demonstrated expertise on how to translate analysis into effective presentations.Demonstrated expertise utilizing data analysis to identify key insights that help solve business problems.Experience in Marketing/media analytics and experience running marketing experiments.Experience with experimentation and web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target etc.Expertise in experimental design and causal inference.Ability to apply experience in a wide variety of database applications, analytical tools and languages including SQL, SAS, Tableau, R, Python and similar tools.Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power PointAbility to partner with requesting organizations to build KPI frameworks.Ability to code in Python, R, SQL, Jupyter Notebook, VertexAI and AutoMLAbility to visualize data using Tableau.Experience managing multiple projects and working in a fast-paced environment.Critical thinking skills to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions; ability to understand and foresee implications of new information for current and future problems solving.Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to persuade, inform, and influence others based on findings.
