Digital Marketing Content Specialist

[The APWU Health Plan is seeking a Digital Marketing Content Specialist [to join our Strategic Marketing and Communications Department. This position is responsible developing and executing social media strategies, managing digital marketing campaigns, developing content, and analyzing data to optimize marketing performance.

Actively researching new opportunities that will increase visibility of programs in the market.Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and reach the target audience.Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar.Manage daily campaign optimization, testing, tracking and performance measurement.Create and distribute content such as brochures, videos and blogs on social media, apwuhp.com and print marketing.Provide regular reports and insights to the marketing team, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for growth.Monitor social media and website feedback and identify, research, and respond to comments.Research and analyze competitor social media and online activity.Other duties as assigned based on direction from the Manager of Strategic Marketing and Communications.

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field or equivalent experience.Three to five years of proven experience in social media marketing to include the management of professional social media accounts for high-profile programs, brands, or government entities and data-driven analytics.Must have extreme knowledge and passion for social media networking, including but not limited to: Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube and Instagram.Proficient in video editing and content creation.Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications.Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills, along with excellent proofreading skills.Health insurance experience preferred.
