Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Assistant Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will work within our client leadership team, be responsible for implementing day-to-day public relations and communications campaigns in support of a retail client.

As an Assistant Account Executive within our PR team, you will develop an understanding of client business and business goals to inform how we garner positive news coverage across verticals and support day-to-day activities of the team. You are a genuine consumer of news who loves to be the first to spot a story that’s breaking

You will:

Support the development of media materials (media lists, pitches, etc.)

Pitch media and driving client coverage alongside our media relations team

Review measurement reports and developing client recaps

Maintain contact lists and editorial calendars

Assist with meeting agendas and conference reports

Keep project management tools updated (i.e. status reports, time and action plans, trackers, etc.)

Staff client events

Develop and nurture a wide array of reporter relationships

Take on day-to-day tasks that support efficiencies and success of the team

While we maintain a hybrid work environment, we do believe in the power of learning by being together and are seeking a candidate willing to spend 2-3 days in office or at client (pending location) weekly.

Location:

Northwest Arkansas preferred, but will consider candidates in NY and Chicago

QualificationsYou are:

Well-versed in AP style with excellent writing skills

Passionate about PR / Journalism

Interested in pop culture and staying ahead of trends

Detailed and organized

Excited to learn and expand on your previous internship experiences

Additional InformationThe anticipated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $72,450. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
