Our client is seeking a skilled and service-oriented UX/UI/Product Designer to join their team in advancing our next-generation point of sale (NGPOS) initiatives. This role requires a systems thinker who can conduct thorough research to inform experience strategies, visualize complex technical solutions, and design comprehensive end-to-end journeys for diverse user groups.Key Responsibilities:Develop Visual Documentation:
Create user journey maps, service blueprints, and other visual tools to document the current state and future vision of the point-of-sale ecosystem.Identify User Needs:
Uncover user needs and pain points, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and address these issues effectively.Conduct User Research:
Plan and execute user research activities, engaging team members and stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of our end-users' challenges. Visiting stores to interact directly with users is highly beneficial.Facilitate Collaboration:
Lead collaborative efforts and facilitate workshops using various frameworks to align stakeholders on a shared vision and strategy.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Payment Systems:
Familiarity or experience working with payment systems is a plus.Analytics and UX Success Metrics:
Experience in leveraging analytics and UX metrics to inform design decisions.Travel to Stores:
Must be able to travel to store locations to gain firsthand experience and insights in the field.Technical Knowledge:
A solid understanding of technical aspects related to the role.
