Summary

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift

The Experience Designer is pivotal in leveraging human-centered design, systems thinking principles, and other experience research tools to address organizational challenges effectively. Advocates for optimal human experiences and touchpoints using design tools.

Job Requirements:

1) Advocate for the human experience standpoint within departmental and cross-functional teams.

2) Collaborate with teams and, in some cases, have ownership over the requirements to ensure the integration of the human perspective in solution designs.

3) Advise/ select the design research methods and frameworks in alignment with project objectives through established human-centered design processes.

4) Lead and support the collection, analysis, and synthesis of data utilizing observation, empathetic interviewing techniques, and human-centered design methodologies for problem and opportunity analysis, solution design, rapid prototyping, in-context testing, and iteration.

5) Drive technology enhancements to elevate user experiences.

6) Lead the designing of solutions for cross-functional problems/enhancements.

7) Maintain project artifacts to establish or highlight baseline and goal data and create templates and frameworks based on best practices for future projects.

Minimally Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree, Design, Clinical Science

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree - Design or Clinical Science

Minimally Required Experience:

5 years if Bachelors, 2 years if Masters

Skills/Competencies:

Human-centered design, systems thinking, project management, organization skills, qualitative and quantitative research. methods, including in-depth interviews, in-person/online group facilitation, survey design, and data analysis.
