DescriptionGeneral program information and/or position overview.The Treasury Solutions and Development program at Leidos is seeking a software applications UI/UX Designer for a new opportunity we are pursuing. The place of work is in the Washington Metro Area with telework and onsite client work. In this mission we will work with our customer to implement application modernization projects in Enterprise Hybrid Multicloud environments.

Primary Responsibilities:Collaborating with UX researchers to understand user needs, goals, and pain points.

Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize design concepts and interactions.

Creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user experience and usability.

Ensuring designs are accessible, responsive, and comply with industry standards and best practices.

Iterating on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and stakeholder input.

Working closely with developers to implement design specifications and maintain design consistency across products and platforms.

Basic Qualifications:3+ years of experience in user interface design for web, mobile, or desktop applications.

Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or InVision.

Strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and visual aesthetics.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and development teams.

Preferred QualificationsCurrent Public Trust MBI clearance.

Experience working in a large federal IT environment.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
