DescriptionThe Treasury Solutions and Development program at Leidos is seeking a software applications UX Researcher for a new opportunity we are pursuing. The place of work is in the Washington Metro Area with telework and onsite client work. In this mission we will work with our customer to implement application modernization projects in Enterprise Hybrid Multicloud environments.
Primary Responsibilities:You will be responsible for helping define and drive the future of our clients' products. You will be an experienced software application user experience designer with experience in designing UX for web / mobile / desktop applications. You will reveal what users need from the products by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies. These responsibilities also include inspiring change, delivering oral and written presentations, evaluating qualitative and quantitative data, and helping the UX team better understand what would make a user's experience more intuitive, accessible, and seamless.
Basic Qualifications:Five or more years of software application UX research experienceBachelor's or MS in a human behavior related field (or equivalent and demonstrable work experience)Ability to quickly and effectively share research resultsAbility to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iterationAbility to formulate specific, answerable, and practical questionsAbility to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisionsA strong desire for creative problem-solving with a positive attitudeExcellent time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:Current Public Trust MBI clearance.Experience working in a large federal IT environment.Original Posting Date:

Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
