The full salary range for the Assistant Training Manager / Instructional Designer is $64,300 - $114,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $93,896.90 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. As part of the recruitment process, a work sample and presentation(s) may be required from identified finalists.

This position is based on funding from University of California Office of the President (UCOP).

The Assistant Training Manager / Instructional Designer participates as a training, education, or instructional design professional in a systemwide program or project. The individual selects technologies and tools, creates supportive learning activities, and develops new training in response to the University's needs. In collaboration with others, the position creates multimedia content and produces according to an established schedule. The individual will analyze needs and develop recommendations to address a wide range of training issues. The Assistant Training Manager / Instructional Designer provides support for testing courses to ensure they are functional, designed with learning in mind, and compliant. The individual serves on a Center of Excellence (COE) team on projects that will have University of California (UC) system wide impact.
