OOL staff lead schoolwide and internal projects to disseminate best practices for online learning.3-5 years working in higher education instructional design is preferred.
Job SummaryConsult with educators on the design, development, and delivery of moderately complex instructional materials and the integration of instructional technologies.
Essential Functions
Consults with program owners about course design and the development of materials for online and hybrid delivery.Analyzes the effectiveness of curricula, instructional materials and recommends changes.Creates course development plans.Edits course materials.Selects appropriate technologies for course development.There are a limited number of employees available who could perform the function or job duty; and/or the function or job duty is highly specialized and the position requires a special expertise or ability to perform the job duty.Essential functions are specific to the individual position and not the ability of the employee. It is also critical to separate the function from the method of performing the function.
Physical Effort
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods; lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
