General Summary of Position:

The Art History Program in the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences seeks applicants for an adjunct faculty member for Art History Survey I: Ancient to Medieval for the FAHSS Art History concentration in the BLA , the Art History minor, and Art + Design major. Teaching load is one 3-credit course per semester (with the possibility of repetition annually). They will provide a course that has a student-centered pedagogy and that will enable students to become familiar with the significant art and issues of the period. Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Applicant must have earned a minimum of an MA in Art History

Evidence of teaching experience at the college level

Familiarity with Blackboard or online teaching platforms

Names and contact information of three references

Additional Considerations :

Evidence that the candidate has already taught a course on the topic
