Position Summary
The Media Buying Coordinator is responsible for assisting Media Manger and Buyers in a wide variety of tasks associated with the daily maintenance of paid linear media schedules across all active tactics/markets.Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assists buyers with sending and confirming station orders
Monitor implementation of all media schedules (broadcast, Cable, Radio, OTT, OOH)
Cross reference quarterly budget vs dollars placed by market by medium
Reviews approves/rejects make-goods
Reviews media tracker
Request and check Pre and Post logs for each of our TV/Cable/Radio schedules
Request post analysis after quarterly campaign has ended
Able or willing to learn to use consumer research and competitive intelligence tools (Kantar, Nielsen, SQAD, etc.) to identify key trends and insights
Ensures all billing is completed in a timely manner and monthly deadlines are followed
Prepare reports, match discrepancies, compile spreadsheets, assist in presentations and enter media buy information as needed
Maintain buys in our buying software including makegoods and monthly discrepancies
Assist with market research and media vendor opportunities
Monitor buys in progress, arrange for makegoods and credits
Track linear media expenditures to ensure budget compliance
Research and maintain a record of trends, innovations and changes that affect media buying
Collaborate with clients and media team members to resolve media billing issues
Analyze and interpret campaign results with the team
On occasion distribute traffic instructions, partner with creative/traffic team to track deadlines and deliverables, sends creative assets to media partners, and responds to any (internal/external) inquiries appropriately, as needed
Prepare and maintain records, digital reports, analytics, and other periodic reports as needed
Build comfort level communicating with their manager, buyers, sales representatives, and other departments including but not limited to the analytics, accounting, and creative teams in order to build a cohesive and team building dynamic across the board
Follows training program established with buyers to learn the art of estimating, negotiating, buying and stewarding broadcast schedules
Shows a genuine interest in media pop culture and stays current with media trends
May assist with placing radio buys and small TV and cable buys with approval and supervision
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in marketing, communications, business or related field. Minimum one year of experience in a marketing support environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel. Proficient in media software such as Kantar, Nielsen, or Strata.
Position Hiring Range
The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position.
Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.
Compensation: $20.85 - $27.10Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
