Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a
Catering Marketing Specialist
to join the team! The
Catering Marketing Specialist
will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Strategy, and focused on implementing initiatives that positively impact the guest and customer experience. They will be responsible for driving marketing and communications programs for our clients, rolling out new marketing and engagement initiatives to drive participation and continuously improve the customer experience/satisfaction. They will coordinate, support and communicate projects at the local level and provide updates to corporate marketing and strategy department, and work closely with the operations team(s) to ensure that revenue, customer satisfaction, and Wolfgang Puck Catering marketing standards and merchandising goals are met.
ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and implement brand standards in presentation, retail merchandising and signage, sales collateral, showcase events, uniforms, photograph, and editorial copyCoordinate feedback from the field to ensure promotions reflect the on-site client/team needsCoordinate field design requests with appropriate leadersSupport business development team on bid presentationsAssist in the development and execution of promotional events, client events, and new unit openingsDevelop innovative programs to keep region current and on trend with marketing practices and local competitionAssist in the planning and execution of associate recognition activitiesSupport digital agencies by providing content and activating strategies on-site at events across the regionManage an engagement calendar in collaboration with culinary team, client achievements, and universal holidays/themesMerchandising openings and seasonal specials from traditional, retail, and creative sourcesImplement all marketing plans and conduct return on investment metrics analysisInitiate customer satisfaction surveys for services, analyze and develop action plans to improveSupport marketing programs and culinary advancement initiatives across the regionAssist in preparing quarterly business review presentationsSupport WPC corporate with new account openings when needed; weekend work and travel may occurExcellent oral and written communication skillsExemplary presentation skillsManagerial/supervisory capabilitiesExcellent execution capabilitiesQualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Previous marketing and/or communication experience - 2 years.Bachelor's Degree in Marketing is preferred.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Excellent writing ability with proofreading and grammatical skills.Basic knowledge of Photoshop or InDesign is beneficial.Self-motivated and well disciplined.Positive attitude and ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels in a corporate and operations environment in a professional manner.Strong knowledge of social media.Drive for accuracy and going above and beyond at all times.Enjoyment of building relationshipsDemonstrate awareness, understanding, and skills necessary to work in a diverse environmentArticulate, with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesPossess an interest in learning, observing, and practicing a variety of experiences in our industryExcellent writing and editing skillsSelf-directed, proactive, and curiousFlexible and adaptableKnowledge of social media platformsKnowledge of graphic design tools is a plusPrior marketing related experience is a plusApply to Wolfgang Puck today!Wolfgang Puck Catering is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story
