What You Can Expect

Develop and execute an innovative social media strategy aligned with the company's overarching goals and brand identityCreate engaging and compelling content across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and InstagramCultivate and nurture relationships with key influencers, partners, and industry leaders to broaden the company's social media reach and enhance engagementMonitor social media trends, industry updates, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for enhancement and innovationLead and advocate for the brand voice and direction in collaboration with cross-functional teams, integrating social media seamlessly into broader marketing initiativesProvide guidance and mentorship to team members on effective practices for social media content creation, community management, and crisis managementConduct regular training sessions and workshops for employees on social media best practices and guidelinesDevelop and oversee the employee brand advocacy program to amplify company messaging and engagementAnalyze and interpret social media performance metrics, delivering insights and actionable recommendations for optimizationStay up-to-date on emerging social media platforms and tools, recommending their integration into the company's strategy as appropriateManage the social media budget effectively, ensuring maximum return on investment for paid campaigns promotionsMaintain compliance with industry regulations and guidelines across all social media activitiesWhat We're Looking For

Marvell is looking for a skilled and driven professional to join our team as the Head of Social Media. In this critical role, you will spearhead the development and execution of our global social media strategy, instrumental in fostering community growth and driving measurable outcomes in customer engagement and brand awareness. We seek someone with a deep expertise in social media best practices, and outstanding leadership, communication, and influencing skills. This role reports to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing and is based in Santa Clara, CA.

Education/Experience

A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or a related area is essential8 or more years of social media experience with the creativity to develop a unique content strategy and identify new opportunities for growthExcellent storytelling and writing skillsSelf-motivated, strategic thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while maintaining a positive attitudeProven experience building, growing and managing external agencies and internal teamsAbility to solve problems and identify opportunities using data and analytics, market research and strategic frameworks

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)102,620 - 153,700, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
