Shapiro Real EstateWe are a growing Property Management Company seeking to fill the position of a Senior Property Manager for a Multifamily Community in the West Bloomfield area.The ideal candidate is a detailed, energetic, self-starter who has excellent sales and customer service skills. Candidates represent the face of the community and as such should be very dependable, organized and strong in resident relations.JOB DUTIESEnsure residents receive the highest levels of service consistent with the companys Customer Service philosophyWork with management team to build out and manage a team of leasing superstars and friendly maintenance teamHandle and resolve resident/customer service issues in a timely and professional mannerMaintain properties to ensure they look their best at all timesDevelop a marketing strategy and maintain effective advertising to attract prospective residents to communityMeet or exceed home sales and leasing budgetsManage the rent collection process, including depositing income from home sites and filing to collect on delinquent debtsOversee the eviction process for your community with the assistance of your Regional ManagerMonitor and manage monthly operating budgets and prepare monthly reports on P & L variancesOversee capital expenditure improvementsOther duties and projects as assignedREQUIREMENTS As a Community Manager, you must have a strong business mindset together with the ability to place the highest priority on customer service. Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills are a vital part of your role.High school diploma or GED; Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Hospitality or Business,a plusMinimum of 2 years property management experience including 2 years of supervisory experiencePrior sales and leasing experienceGeneral knowledge of repair and maintenance dutiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentThorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment lawComputer proficiency, including the internet and Microsoft Office Suite; experience using Rent Manager,preferredFlexibility to respond to community needs during non-business hours#J-18808-Ljbffr
