Marketing Analytics Director

Job Purpose or Objective(s):
The Director of Marketing Analytics generates data sets and reports required to conduct comprehensive reviews of our overall marketing performance. You will ensure data can be structured and extracted from the companies’ systems to build marketing programs including Direct Marketing and Promotions. You will report to the Senior Director of Marketing Analytics.
Primary Tasks:
Gather/query and format all data needed for generating direct mail lists for all campaigns
You will create custom views and SQL code for our reporting server to increase ease of querying data for less technically skilled team members.
Work with team to create monthly reporting packages for each site highlighting the performance of all associated marketing metrics and their impact on overall performance.
Identify target market segments by demographic characteristics and develop strategic plans.
Develop methods to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Develop pre-analysis to determine offers, target revenues and response rates based on historical performance, list quantities and budget.
Track and analyze results of marketing programs and recommends modifications based on the data.
Assist in the decisions affecting the reinvestment matrix including comps, point reinvestment, discounts, and other incentives to ensure we are investing in the right customers and activities to maximize profitability.
Meet with property management team to communicate business trends and ensure interpretation of data.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, accounting, business administration, or related field and six [6] years of marketing analytical experience in the gaming industry including development, data mining and data analysis, OR ten [10] years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including, higher level functions in EXCEL such as Pivot Tables, sumifs, Nested formulas, V/H lookups, Macros, Graphing, etc.
Experience with the following: Infogenesis, Aristocrat Oasis, Oasis Loyalty, Loyalty Kiosk
Experience with computer report writing and database inquiry software such as ACCESS, SQL or equivalent
Ability to analyze statistical reports and Profit / Loss statements and make recommendations based on those findings
