Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.Business Segment: NBCU CorporateRole Purpose:The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver effective change plans and drive engaging communications for the Global Controllership Executive Leadership team as they execute strategic initiatives and transform their broader operating model. This role will ensure business leaders, change agents, impacted employees, and external stakeholders both provide input and are regularly engaged, understand the reasons and benefits of any initiative or change, what it means for them, how they will be supported throughout any change and the associated success factors. A key part of the role is also inputting to process and organizational design elements that are a deliverable of the transformation.Key Responsibilities:Develop change and communication strategies and plans to support delivery of the Global Controllership strategic and operational initiativesAssess and conduct interventions as needed to ensure organizational readiness for changeDeliver communications in an engaging and transparent mannerProvide strategic counsel to executive level stakeholders, advising them on solutions for best practice change management and communications.Build and develop relationships with influencers and stakeholders both in and outside of Global ControllershipUse storytelling to support the transformation journey and illustrate key proof pointsProvide audience insights and analysisTest and learn new change communications tactics to drive innovation and engagementDevelop and deliver tailored change plans and interventions as required using a core toolkit as a basisDrive completion and maintenance of Business Change Impact Assessment (BCIA) and Change Action Plan (including change readiness and embedding activities)Collaborate with other programs to understand and mitigate the cumulative impact of change on individuals and teamsHelp to manage a complex stakeholder landscape to ensure understanding, buy-in, and mitigate comms risk and issues to ensure a smooth path for project deliveryPut important operational change messages into a business context and use global materials to support production of clear, simple, engaging copy and visual communicationsWork closely with a wide variety of stakeholders in both Global Controllership and the wider Finance organization, HR, and other business areas to ensure that activities are aligned, coordinated, and integratedTrack and manage key change and communication metricsOther duties and projects as assignedKnowledge & Skills:Proven understanding and experience in operational model changes as well as standard business change and adoption toolsTenacity, resilience, and ability to work effectively under pressure and at paceCommitted to delivering high-quality results, overcoming challenges, and focusing on what mattersStrong judgment and integrityBuilding strong relationships and collaboration, managing trusted stakeholder relationshipsStrong verbal and written communication, storytelling skills, and cultural awarenessAbility to use internal social and digital channels effectively and proactivelyExpertise with evaluating and measuring communications (data analytics)Understanding of business change management together with an ability to synthesize facts into an overall picture and then identify the gapsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPersonable and proactiveBasic Requirements:Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in transformation communications planning and execution for a global matrixed organization or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience delivering large organizational change and developing and deploying global campaigns to a diverse audienceExperience of working in target operating model, process, and/or technology changeDemonstrated experience with successful influencing and stakeholder managementDesired Characteristics:Formal training in change and communication preferredExperience in Finance preferredApplication Information:Must be willing to work in New York, NY.This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
