The

Experience Designer (Infrastructure Engineering Advisor)

is someone who speaks geek and can translate complex engineering solutions into something consumable by a tech-averse general audience. The ideal candidate is someone who understands that they are uniquely placed as the advocate for users who use the products in Collaboration Technology Services organization. This role requires a deep understanding of change management, persona analysis, and technical savvy. The application landscape you will directly influence the experience includes, but is not limited to, Webex, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office 365, Confluence, and Knowledge Xchange. The Experience Designer cares deeply about enacting positive and meaningful change to their colleagues and customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, technology teams and strategic vendors; including the ability to collaborate and influence.

Partner with cross-functional technology teams to determine pain points for users of our services.

Jointly develop product roadmaps in partnership with engineering teams.

Conducting market research to identify customer needs and market trends.

Defining product requirements and working with the engineering team to prioritize features.

Collaborating the colleague technology experience to develop go-to-market strategies.

Analyzing product performance and making data-driven decisions to improve the product.

Communicating product updates and plans to stakeholders, including senior management and customers.

Leverage team to engage with key delivery partners and strategic vendors to improve services.

Demonstrate clear and concise communication skills and the ability to drive continuous performance improvements with stakeholders, vendors, and technology subject matter specialists.

Deliver User Experience through thought leadership.

Distill and present complex concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.

Write and develop end user communications and user instructions that are easily understood by a general population.

Identify personas impacted by existing technology and how change would impact different personas.

Test experience and functionality for new tools and upgrades with engineering teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience in building strong relationships.

Experience taking ideas from theory into execution in partnership with others.

Subject matter expertise in managing collaboration tools such as Webex, Zoom, and Microsoft 365 within a corporate environment.

Comfortable with a short runway for adapting to emerging technologies.

Technical writing experience.

Comfortable taking complex technology deployment plans and determining end user impacts and drafting supporting documentation.

Experience drafting communications to a broad audience.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads, set milestones, and meet project deadlines.

Works independently with minimal oversight.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
