Marketing Project Manager

As Marketing Project Manager (PM), you support the Product Owner to execute cross-sector projects and initiatives and to ensure objectives are on time and on budget. You participate in all the different project phases, from design to rollout ensuring action plans and milestones are aligned with the mandate. You share goals, strategies and approaches, and monitor efforts for large-scale, innovative projects. You draw on your drive for results and ability to engage others to effectively facilitate teams and help the organization achieve its objectives. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your specialty area. You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in many other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as specialist advisor and subject matter expert, as well as resource person and coach for decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to:
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to determine project goals, project scope, and deliverables, ensuring that they align with business objectives.
  • Advise your partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic marketing projects and initiatives.
  • Work on deliverables with contribution managers, ensuring business objectives are met, benefits are delivered, and budgets and timelines are respected.
  • Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies.
  • Prepare performance reports and status updates for the business partners.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to understand features and benefits of new business offers and services and clarify marketing expectations.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlog by working closely with the project team and the marketing execution squad PO.
  • Support the execution squads by clarifying objectives and removing obstacles and bottlenecks that delay progress, escalating major issues to decision makers for prioritization and direction.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders based on approved KPIs.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, self-efficiency, and continuous improvement.


What we offer*
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with (language)-speaking partners, members and/or clients.
  • Proficient in project management, orchestrating large-scale marketing activities
