WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven marketer to join the growing, exciting, and fast-paced U.S. Medical Aesthetics group comprising content-driven events, a magazine and online education portal. Reporting to the Marketing Director, The Marketing Manager, B2B Events is responsible for supporting all aspects of developing a marketing strategy, and for all marketing execution in support of the Group’s portfolio of tradeshows, conferences, society, and media, and for hitting attendance, sales and revenue goals.

You are accountable for:

Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop the strategy to direct market brands and respective content across social media, digital and print channels, to prospective attendees, subscribers, members, exhibitors, sponsors, and advertisers within assigned brands, and support activities in other brands as needed.

Create and manage the complete strategy and implementation process of marketing a brand and/or event including the planning stage, running pre, during and post-event marketing acquisition, and nurturing campaigns.

Responsible for creating compelling content-focused copy for marketing materials, such as website content, emails, and social media posts. Understand the individual brand's Value propositions and USPs, and be able to create compelling, benefits-driven copy that resonates with the target audiences; use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of their writing.

Work closely with the creative and digital teams and use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of communications and pivot/adjust as necessary.

Ensure all marketing materials are designed and produced to brand guidelines and expectations.

Lead the development and execution of the social media strategy for our brands to expand their digital footprint, increase brand awareness and engagement, and lead attendee conversion.

Working with the Content Team, develop content marketing calendars that align with both exhibitor and attendee campaigns.

Ensure social media is a revenue-contributing channel integrated as part of the overall marketing plan.

In conjunction with the Content Team, develop high-traffic content appropriate for multichannel distribution across web, social, email, PPC, and interactive events, including but not limited to video, photography, articles, blogs, white papers, webinars, “state of” and trend reports, etc.

Actively engage with the target audience to identify drivers that will improve messaging and outreach strategies.

Facilitate influencer outreach efforts, create highly visible campaigns, and post-event reports.

Work with marketing team to improve UX pre-event.

Work with a broader team to create on-site features, activities, and programs that will ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.

Track Marketing expenditure and report monthly on marketing metrics and campaign performance against KPIs across all brands, including attendee conversions and revenue for events and subscription data for media.

Qualifications:Qualifications

Must Haves:

4-5+ years of proven work experience in B2B event marketing; email marketing, website management, and social media required.

Conference or content marketing experience a plus.

Must have superior writing skills with the ability to craft relevant and exciting messaging that will resonate with different target audiences, as well as proofreading and editing skills.

Excellent communication skills, ability to demonstrate the brand voice through all marketing messaging and social media activities, as well as the ability to problem-solve

Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment; successful multi-tasking

Willingness and ability to be hands-on, creating campaigns from start to finish as needed

Strong and positive team player

Basic HTML knowledge

Expertise in multiple social media platforms

Experience working with Marketing Automation tools

Creative-minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas and deliver creative content (copy, image, and video)

Demonstrated ability to analyze data and use it to pivot to see a greater impact

A sense of urgency and driven to hit deadlines with accuracy

Agile and flexible with regard to changing priorities and business needs and in working with diverse teams and people

Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively

Ability to travel up to 20 -25%

Preferred:

Knowledge of the medical aesthetics industry

Experience working with Adobe Suite products highly preferred

Degree in Marketing, Communications, Writing

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
