Plumbing Designer

We are currently seeking a talented Plumbing Designer. As an organization we are fully committed to sustainable design.We are seeking a designer with consulting engineering experience that will be responsible for schematic design through construction administration for offices, retail, condominiums, industrial and multifamily residential projects.Summary: Performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives and involves conventional types of plans and specifications. Work is reviewed by Project Managers for the application of sound professional judgment.Requirements+ 2+ years of experience in building plumbing systems design.+ Design and layout engineering drawings.+ Complete plumbing calculations. Including: water, storm and equipment sizes.+ Design plumbing systems including sanitary waste, vent, storm, and domestic water systems.+ Designs, selects, schedules, sizes and specifies basic plumbing system components.+ Power Distributions Systems Design+ Knowledge of Revit is a plus and strong Auto Cad skills including ACAD is required.+ Proficient in Microsoft software, particularly Excel including Word, Outlook.+ Multi- family and commercial design knowledge a plus.Qualifications:+ BS in Electrical Engineering preferredExperience:+ Plumbing Design: 2 years (Preferred)About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
