Job Description:As a CAD Designer, you will review and compare customer drawings to Sales PO's and report any discrepancies between final drawings and Sales Orders. Your role will involve reading, understanding, and interpreting supplied drawings and detail prints. You will recognize potential design issues and collaborate for solutions. You will manipulate geometry, manage formatting and layers in complex CAD drawings, and design layouts and custom products based on specific project's requirements. You will create detailed customer facing drawing packages using AutoCAD 2D in Architectural format, prepare and calculate detailed takeoffs for custom parts using Excel and CAD 2D, and perform self-reviews of created drawings and takeoffs. You will take meticulous notes during the design process to present upon review and revise drawings and takeoffs as directed by customer or supervisor.Skills:
AutoCAD 2DDrafting certificate or 1-3 years of experience using AutoCAD to read prints and update 2D drawingsPreparing and calculating detailed takeoffs for custom parts using Excel and CAD 2DAbout Actalent
